I needed an aditive for my Diesel Particulate Filter topped up in my Peugeot. There was a slight miscommunication about what I needed when I booked, however the team at Tip Top called me and still got everything sorted same day. They also got my wheel alignment sorted when I'd tried to have it fixed on two previous occasions. Great work, great communication. Highly recommend!!

Firstly the good points, The staff are very friendly and they carried out the work quickly and fixed the problem with my van.
However, I paid the investigation fee (£48.50) when I dropped off the vehicle. After the work had been done, the fee was added again to the invoice, which unfortunatly I had paid by bank transfer so I could collect my vehicle after working hours.
I contacted the garage, and they said they would issue a refund, but never did.

Update: The issue has been resolved after a thorough investigation by Pam. Thank you very much!

I contacted the Tip top service centre to investigate a warning light.

They said they could diagnose the problem Hopefully in the spare half hour slot that day.
The team were very polite and professional.
After they checked out my car they gave me a quote to cover all possibilities that may arise.
The car was booked in the next day. The work was completed to the quote given.Which was great news.
I would highly recommend the tip top team. It's a rare to find such a very good service.

The best rapid response you could wish for when you have an emergency with your car. Had an emergency on Friday at 8am
just as they opened. Paul booked me in and the car was diagnosed within minutes and I was sent to the main dealer to have rectification carried out on manufactures warranty. A real lifesaver - thanks guys and girls x

I called in on the off chance I could get my headlight bulb changed. Gemma was really helpful and asked someone if they could do it. Within a couple of minutes someone came and changed it. The prices are very reasonable.

Really happy with the service here! They got my MOT and advisories sorted all in the same day, which was super convenient. I also had a problem with my door handle – they fixed it quickly and for a fair price, and even said I should pop back for further attention. Communication was great throughout, and everyone was friendly and helpful, giving good advice on how to keep things in check. Definitely recommend!

Lovely people to deal with, very friendly and so helpful.
My husband had a problem, which was nothing to do with garage but he needed help asap. I rang up they said to go down there that afternoon.
The problem was solved very quickly and cannot thank them enough.

Fantastic experience, friday afternoon and it sounded like my wheel was going coming off my car, so pulled into tip top garage, there and then they checked it showed me the snapped spring and agree to see if they could get the part and fix it. The were so lovely and the job was reasonably price, not sure what I would have done without them as I was miles from home. Thank you, I highly recommend this garage.

Having been messed around by others on diagnosing a fault with my aircon, this garage found the fault very quickly. The job was expensive, but it has sorted my aircon so I am pleased. The staff were friendly and efficient and I would use this garage again.
The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the way their invoice is set out. It would be more helpful and a lot clearer if the invoice showed

I just felt that the invoice was unclear.

Really helpful, friendly staff. The garage is easy to find and has ample parking. The working and reception spaces are clean and professional. The work I needed doing was done quickly, accurately and at a great price. They also have a comfortable waiting area from which you can watch the work being carried out if you are so inclined.

I’ve been a customer of TopTop for a number of years. I’ve always found the service and professionalism of all the staff second to none. Paul, Pam and the guys have kept my cars in excellent mechanical condition, nothing as been too much trouble, they’ve gone above and beyond at times to help me and I thank them for that. I have no issue recommending Tip Top to anyone wanting a reliable garage to look after their “pride and joy”!

Fantastic garage! We recently started using Tip Top Garage after struggling to find a garage and a mechanic that we could trust and that understood what we wanted when it came to our VW T5 Campervan. Tip Top have met all our needs, above and beyond our expectations. Both the garage and Nathan our mechanic have been fantastic at understanding that we wish to restore our campervan not just fix broken parts.

Gemma & Helen on reception are both warm & friendly and very knowledgeable. Gemma has been a star pricing and locating all the parts we’ve needed and really understands what we need.

Nathan the mechanic has been brilliant at giving the appropriate expertise and care to our beloved camper. He has also given us good advice and we really feel we can trust his expertise, knowledge and work.

We would highly recommend Tip Top Garage, the workmanship and their professionalism from reception through to the mechanics is next to none.

Had my MOT here as was too late to book into my normal garage.
Failed MOT £236 plus needed investigation into parking break efficiency, shown my garage the list of ‘fails’ and took it to him same day, half the stuff did not need doing! My parking break is perfect.
Next day my car had work that actually needed doing & re-tested for £100. Would not recommended sadly

Hi Trudi, thank you for you feedback. I wish to clarify that the £236 was for the MOT Failure Repair immediately (major defects) on your Nearside Front Suspension arm ball joint. The Repair immediately (major defect) parking break failure is tested on an electronic MOT Brake Roller where the parking brake is engaged while the rollers try to turn the wheels, assessing the parking brake's effectiveness. The Brake Roller is electronically linked to the DVSA and is regularly calibrated. The roller was recently callibrated and so cannot be incorrect.I also wish to point out that the garage you took it too also failed the MOT test on your car on the same day as we failed it.We do encourage customers to talk to us if they're not happy and would appreciate that you did that if you decide to visit us in future.

Recently had my MOT here and the staff were very nice and very helpful. The Car needed some work doing to pass the MOT which was sorted out the same day and for a good price. I will definitely be using Tip Top Garage for any future work on my car, I highly recommend using Tip Top Garage for your MOT.

Just to update from my previous review. I have been back for another Asda tyre fitting and the service etc is still as below 100% recommended.

Ordered my tyres(18 inch for Tiguan) through Asda(on line). Far cheaper than anywhere else in the Flint/Chester area. Fitting booked on line at a time that suited me. Ladies in reception were very pleasant and as good sense of humour. Obviously a favourite with the community as some people were greeted with first names and a bit of banter. Everyone collecting or dropping off had the work clearly explained. Waiting area is pleasant, clean and tidy...and comfortable. Tyre fitting took about 30 minutes.
100%recommended.

I can't speak for the MoT or repairs side because I didn't call on those services but the impression it left with me is it should be very good (comment based on seeing a few repeat customers while I was waiting, the cleanliness of the place, politeness, efficiency)

Absolutely fantastic garage. Brilliant work done on my car. But more so, was the helpfulness after the repair. My warranty company were just being silly regards an invoice because it showed other repairs too. Had a word with tiptop and they were so helpful to get me another invoice made. I cab pass this on and get my claim done.
Please can you just also say special thanks to Gemma. She has been an absolute star.
5 stars is not nearly enough to show how good this garage is 😊

My car had a loud knocking sound . I phoned Tip Top Garage and my car was fitted in the same day to diagnose the problem. Fault found and new part ordered and was fitted the next day.
Also had MOT and full service the following week.
Excellent service by the whole team. Reception staff so helpful and efficient. Mechanic listened to the problem and found it straight away.

I cannot speak more highly of this garage and would recommend it to anyone.

Used TipTop service centre in Flint for Tyres for my truck. Very impressed with the setup and the staff all excellent customer service. The whole process was explained to me as was the length of time it would take. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable. All in all a 5 star rating will definitely use again. Thank you.

The best. Went the extra mile to make sure I paid the best price. Needed new wiper fittings and they hunted down excellent second hand ones on eBay rather than very expensive dealer alternatives.
Ordered them and then got them fitted.
It’s why they deserve everyone’s support.

My local garage. Problem with lock on door, saved me money on original quote as they went beyond to investigate further and solved the problem for so much less than expected. I use them all the time for MOT and service, honest and reliable. Everyone is very helpful. Gemma kept me up to date and accommodated my needs with the booking in times. I strongly recommend.
